There comes a time, often quietly, sometimes like a thunder, when life no longer moves in the same way it used to. The routines feel hollow. The roles you once wore so effortlessly begin to slip. Decisions feel weighty. You wake each morning with a vague ache… not quite sadness, but not quite certainty either.
You may feel as though you're moving through a dense fog, where clarity feels distant, and even the next step seems shrouded in doubt.

But what if this isn’t stagnation?
What if it’s the sacred pause before a powerful transformation? Embrace this pause itself as a Sacred Pause. Here’s a simple practice to meet yourself in the fog:
Place your hands gently over your heart.
Close your eyes. Take three slow breaths.
Whisper aloud (or within): “I am not lost. I am becoming.”
Stay for one minute in silence.
Feel the space inside your chest soften.
Let the fog be there, without needing to change it. Let yourself be.
This practice will act as a reminder to your nervous system: You don’t need to rush clarity.
Presence is the first clarity.
The Fog that we sense during these times is fear-based. We are conditioned to fear stillness.
We’re told to do, to achieve, to be clear and confident at all times. But that’s not how sacred transitions unfold. What you're experiencing isn't failure, it's a state of liminality. This fog is the space between identities, between chapters, between versions of you. It may feel like you're falling apart, but in truth, you're falling into alignment.
In this space, our body has to slow down to catch up & align with our inner knowing. Old belief systems collapse, not to punish you, but to free you. What no longer serves begins to dissolve, quietly, lovingly, sometimes painfully.
How do we navigate the In-Between?
To navigate this transition with ease, release the urge to fix yourself. Ignore all those external voices that may reinforce the same. You are not broken.
It's okay to let go of old roles or routines that feel tight or inauthentic.
If you're open to it, consider writing a letter to your future self. Not to predict outcomes, but to reconnect with your inner knowing.
It is okay to limit external noise. Note that the fog deepens when we lose our voice beneath others' expectations.
Trust that your soul remembers the way forward, even when your mind doesn’t.
“And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.” — Anaïs Nin
So, my dear soul sisters, you are not lost, you are being initiated. The fog will lift. Don’t rush it. It’s not here to stop you, it’s here to reshape you. You are in transition, not stuck.
You are shedding what no longer protects you, and slowly sailing toward a self that no longer needs to prove her worth. Trust the quiet. Let the fog hold you until the light returns. Take care of this version of yourself, as she unfolds into the next one.
With love and light
